• French Press

    Coffee to Water Ratio 1:15

    Coffee = 20g
    Purified Water = 300mL
    Temperature = 93°C
    Grind Size = Medium-Coarse
    Grinder Used = Timemore C2 Hand Grinder, 23 clicks
    Brewing Time = 5 minutes

    Prepare the following:

    • Ground coffee (medium-coarse)
    • Water (93°C)
    • French Press, spoon
    • Scale and timer


    Time to brew!

    1. Pre-heat your French Press with water. Discard the water after a few seconds.
    2. Take out the plunger and pour the coffee grounds into the French Press. Place it on your scale and tare.
    3. Start your timer and continuously pour water until 300mL.
    4. Take a spoon and stir 6 times. At 4:20 minutes, remove the crust/foam sitting on top of your brew using the spoon.
    5. Place your plunger into the French Press and plunge. End by 5:00 minutes.
    6. Serve the coffee into your cup and savor the aroma. Enjoy your freshly brewed coffee!
  • Aeropress

    Coffee to Water Ratio 1:15

    Coffee = 10g
    Mineral Water = 150mL
    Temperature = 93°C
    Grind Size = Medium
    Grinder Used = Timemore C2 Hand Grinder, 20 clicks
    Aeropress Method: Traditional
    Brewing Time = 2:50 minutes

    Prepare the following:

    • Ground coffee (medium)
    • Water (93°C)
    • Aeropress, paper filter, cup/server
    • Scale and timer

    Time to brew!

    1. Place your filter in the filter cap and fix it into your Aeropress. Pre-heat by pouring water into the chamber and letting the water drip into your cup. Discard water.
    2. Place your Aeropress and cup on your scale and tare.
    3. Pour the coffee grounds into your Aeropress and level the grounds by slightly tapping it sideways. Tare your scale.
    4. Start your timer and continuously pour water and let it bloom for 40 seconds. Lock the Aeropress by placing the plunger at 1:25 minutes.
    5. At 2:30, remove your Aeropress and cup from the scale and start pressing down slowly. End by 2:50 minutes.
    6. Once you hear hissing, take off your Aeropress and swirl your server vigorously to mix the components of your brew. This also allows your coffee to cool down and let the flavors come out naturally. Savor the aroma.
    7. Serve, and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee!
  • V60 Dripper

    Coffee to Water Ratio 1:15

    Coffee = 20g
    Filtered Water = 300mL
    Temperature = 90 to 92°C
    Grind Size = Medium
    Grinder Used = Electric Grinder

    Prepare the following:

    • Ground coffee (medium)
    • Water (90 to 92°C)
    • V60, paper filter, server
    • Scale and timer

    Time to Brew!

    1. Place your V60 on your coffee server and add your paper filter.
    2. Rinse the paper filter with your hot water. Doing so pre-heats your server and removes any paper-like taste in your brew. Take out water from the server.
    3. Add ground coffee into your paper filter and level the grounds by slightly tapping the V60 sideways.
    4. Place your V60 and coffee server on your scale, then tare.
    5. Start your timer. Pour water up to 45mL for 30 seconds in a circular motion. (1st pour). Make sure all your coffee grounds are saturated with water for them to bloom.
    6. Pour up to 100mL in a circular motion (2nd pour).
    7. Pour up to 200mL in a circular motion (3rd pour).
    8. Pour up to 300mL (last pour).
    9. End brewing around 2:15 to 2:30 minutes.
    10. Remove your V60 then swirl your server vigorously to mix the components of your brew. This also allows your coffee to cool down and let the flavors come out naturally. Savor the aroma.
    11. Serve, and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee!
